GWSC names marketing director for Latin America

STAMFORD, Connecticut -- Loreyne Alicea has been named marketing director for Latin America for Group W Satellite Communications. At her Miami- based post, Ms. Alicea will oversee marketing and advertising campaigns for CBS Telenoticias and Country Music Television Latin America, the company's two Latin American cable TV channels.

Previous to joining Group W Satellite Communications, Ms. Alicea was regional marketing director for American International Group, a financial services company based in Miami.

"With the tremendous growth our Latin American businesses are experiencing, we are committed to better servicing our customers with a dedicated Miami-based staff," says Steve Yanovsky, vice president for marketing services at GWSC.
