Published on .

Ed Abramson, VP-associate group publisher of the Home Group at Hachette Filipacchi, will be the new publisher of Century 21 House & Garden. Tracy Gavant, eastern ad sales manager at Home, will be the ad director. The new posts will be added to their current job titles. The magazine is a joint venture between Hachette and HFS Corp., parent company of Century 21 real estate brokerage that had been publishing a 550,000 circulation title called Twenty One. The new title is slated to debut next March with a six times a year frequency. It will seek advertisers in home furnishing, decorating/remodeling and financial services. A one-time four color ad costs $14,000.
