When Cleo was first launched in Singapore in October 1994, it sold out in three days and became the biggest-selling young women's magazine within eight months. The monthly magazine is aimed at the 18-29 age group and publishes articles on local and international celebrities, fashion trends and beauty tips. It also has stories on relationships and careers. Cleo will be Hachette's fourth publication in Thailand. It launched Elle in 1994 and Elle Decor in 1996 and also publishes a contract magazine on behalf of BMW. In addition to Singapore, ACP has launched Cleo in Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.
