Hachette renews AOL contract

In an apparent demonstration of support for commercial online services over the World Wide Web, Hachette Filipacchi New Media said it renewed its exclusive contract with America Online. Under terms of the contract, which runs through the end of 1996, will bring several more titles to AOL, including Metropolitan Home, Mirabella, Family Life and Car Stereo Review. AOL already carries online versions of several Hachette magazines. The two companies also will work together on joint CD-ROM/online projects.
