Halliday Back on Ad Age Auto Beat

Published on .

DETROIT (AdAge.com) -- Jean Halliday returns to Advertising Age today as Detroit bureau chief. She will oversee coverage of automotive marketing and related industries.

Ms. Halliday first joined Ad Age as Detroit bureau chief in March 1996 and held that post for three years. Earlier this year, she moved to Automotive News, a sibling Crain Communications title.

"Jean is the most experienced and aggressive reporter covering automotive marketing today, and we welcome her return to our staff," said Ad Age Editor Scott Donaton. "Auto marketers are among the world's largest advertisers and coverage of the industry is a key component of our editorial strategy."

Ms. Halliday is a veteran Crain journalist who earlier served as a reporter for Crain's Detroit Business.
