Hallmark dons on Web

Published on .

Hallmark Cards, Kansas City, Mo., Monday launched a new Web site, created by Chicago-based developer Giant Step, a unit of Leo Burnett USA, Chicago. The No. 1 greeting card marketer's site offers a variety of services to users including a personally customizable Hallmark Reminder Service that sends e-mails reminding users of upcoming special occasions and important dates. Also featured is detailed information and background on Hallmark's Keepsake Ornaments Collector program; a Deliver-a-Card contest to win a trip for two anywhere in the U.S.; and biographies of Hallmark's creative staff. Hallmark Connections, a new technology brand established by Hallmark, also offers a do-it-yourself online greeting card workshop through Hallmark sites on America Online and CompuServe, both promoted on its site.
