(May 11, 2001) -- Three months after announcing a disposition plan for its marketing services businesses, promotional products company Halo Industries finalized the sale of its teleservices unit, Market USA, Des Plaines, Ill.

Halo, of Niles, Ill., sold the business to Paris-based relationship marketing company SR.Teleperformance for $32.5 million. The money will be used to pay down Halo's debt. The company is also in the process of finalizing an agreement for the sale of its brand identity and packaging company, Laga, Northbrook, Ill. --Cara Beardi
