Hasbro, Pawtucket, R.I., the week of Sept. 18, kicks off a new ad effort for the U.S. launch of its Action Man action figure. Action Man, which already is sold in the U.K., is slated to get $12 million in TV, print, radio and Web ad support. Griffin Bacal, New York, created the campaign, which will break on cable and network TV. Hasbro also created a videogame around the Action Man figure, while Fox is airing a TV show featuring the hero on its Fox Kids programming.
