Insight will keep its name, according to those close to the deal. The Insight and Euro RSCG offices will be run as separate legal entities, allowing each agency to pursue competing clients. Insight handles Peugeot competitor Mitsubishi, as well as Merck Pharmaceuticals and Radio Juventus. Euro RSCG clients include Philips, Peugeot, Novartis, Air France and L'Oreal.
Major staff changes accompany the deal. Insight's president and owner, Laszlo Radnai, moves to CEO of the Euro RSCG group in Hungary, under which both Insight and Euro RSCG will be run.
Insight Managing Director Sandor Piller last month moved to the managing director post at Euro RSCG, while Szonya Szigeti replaces him at Insight. Petr Pihanyi moves to creative director of Euro RSCG from the same position at Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide, Budapest.
One of the first international networks in Hungary, Euro RSCG began Budapest operations in 1990.
