Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Plano, Texas, awarded creative and media duties for Hawaiian Punch to roster agencies Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago, and Young & Rubicam's media buying division Media Edge, respectively. The brand, acquired in April from Procter & Gamble Co., was formerly handled by N.W. Ayer & Partners, New York, and, briefly, by Ayer sister shop D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles. Spending could not be determined. The first effort will be a holiday promotion, a Dr Pepper/Seven Up spokeswoman said.
