This new Energizer TV spot, breaking this week, is part of a promotion asking consumers to test for themselves whether their batteries outlast the competition in high-drain devices such as digital cameras, palmtop computers and mini-disc players. Consumers buying batteries through May and June will receive $8 in $1-offer coupons if they are satisfied with Energizer's performance, or a refund up to $3.99 if not. Print ads from agency TBWA Chiat/Day, Venice, Calif., also support.
