Hearst signs Conde Nast's Clinton

Former Conde Nast Publications Exec VP Michael Clinton, who abruptly resigned Aug. 21 to pursue other opportunities, has been hired by rival publishing house Hearst Magazines, New York, as senior VP-chief marketing officer, a newly created position. He will be responsible for corporate marketing and group sales, corporate marketing research and direct response advertising.
