Hearst, Space.com to launch print magazine

Hearst Magazines and Space.com announced Space.com Illustrated, a new custom-published magazine that examines the exploration of space. Anne Mollegen Smith, president of Qwerty Communications, a publishing consulting group, will serve as editor of the magazine, which will be distributed three times in 2000 by Hearst Distribution Group and printed in an oversize format with an initial circulation of 150,000. The first issue will appear on newsstands July 4.
