Helene Curtis ups support for ThermaSilk to $100 mil

Unilever's Helene Curtis unit will increase spending on its ThermaSilk line to $100 million in 1999, including the launch of three new products. TV, radio and print advertising and sampling from J. Walter Thompson USA, New York, will break later in the first quarter to support the May launch of Clarifying Shampoo, gel and hair spray products.
