Heritage takes Turner's top Asian interactive post

HONG KONG--Holly Heritage has been named regional sales director, international interactive sales for Turner International Asia Pacific, according to Dave Dickman, senior VP-advertising sales for Turner International Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.

"The increased growth of the Internet business and the corresponding demand for Turner's online advertising opportunities has warranted the rapid expansion of the company's interactive sales division in the Asia Pacific," says Mr. Dickman. Ms. Heritage's newly created position is based in Hong Kong.

Ms. Heritage will be responsible for developing ad sales across all CNN Interactive and Cartoon Network Web sites, and building an interactive sales team in the region to support planned launches of local versions of Turner's Web sites.

"As more and more advertisers make online advertising an important part of their media mix, our goal is to provide them with the well-known brand that can deliver the most targeted eyeballs across the region," says Ms. Heritage.

Before joining Turner, she worked for Far Eastern Economic Review as head of interactive advertising sales, responsible for Dow Jones Group interactive deals in Asia with clients such as Motorola Corp. She also played a key role in the relaunch of FEER's Web site. Prior to that, Ms. Heritage was with The Economist Group as a senior manager of business development in China, where she was responsible for sales of event sponsorships as well as identification and development of new-media activities.
