Hershey chief operating officer resigns

Mike Pasquale, 53, resigned Dec. 11 as exec VP-chief operating officer of Hershey Foods, Hershey, Pa. The move comes several weeks after the company announced it was searching for a new CEO to succeed Ken Wolfe, 61, who plans to retire. According to food analysts, Mr. Pasquale's resignation came after being passed over for the position he coveted. Bill Christ, 60, succeeds Mr. Pasquale, fromVP-chief financial officer and treasurer. Succeeding Mr. Christ is Frank Cerminara, 52.
