Hertz offers navigation system

Published on .

Hertz is introducing its NeverLost on-board navigation system with a free trial offer in nine markets through Sept. 30. Customers renting a Ford Contour, Ford Taurus or Lincoln Town car can test the new directional system currently in Detroit, Los Angeles and San Francisco, by mid-August in Atlanta Chicago, Miami and New York, and by the end of August in Orlando and Washington. NeverLost uses satellite links to provide turn-by-turn driving directions to destinations by means of an in-car, four-inch video screen and computer-generated voice instructions.
