Hilton brands reunited

Hilton Hotels Corp. will reunify the Hilton hotel brand under a new worldwide alliance with Ladbroke Group, London, whose subsidiary Hilton International holds the Hilton brand rights outside the U.S. Under terms of the alliance, to be effective in 1997, Hilton and Hilton International will cooperate on sales and marketing, loyalty programs, hotel development and other operational matters. Ladbroke also expects to join Hilton in developing the chain's gambling business domestically and overseas.
