The Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies and U.S. Hispanic Leadership Institute today launched the final stage of their aggressive "Voto'' effort to increase the Hispanic vote next year. A new Web site (latinvote.org) features information on registration and candidates. The site, being produced and updated by StarMedia Network, is part of an effort including a major commitment to carry the groups' public service ads by Spanish-language broadcast networks. D. Juan Andrade, president of the leadership institute, said 6.8 million Hispanic citizens are registered while 6 million are unregistered, and the program's first goal is to raise registration to 8 million to 9 million. An ad campaign began earlier via Casanova Pendrill Publicidad, Irvine, Calif.
