(Mar. 23, 2001) -- Streaming advertising provider Hiwire, Los Angeles, signed a deal with online audio company NetRadio Corp. to be the exclusive provider of targeted ad insertion services and the third-party rep for all ad sales on NetRadio's 100-plus music and information channels. The deal adds more than 22 million impressions to Hiwire's existing ad network. Privately held Hiwire's insertion technology enables marketers to reach a streaming audio and video audience with targeted ads during the streaming program, as opposed to before or after. -- Cara Beardi
