HODGES JOINS AD AGE NEW YORK BUREAU

NEW YORK-Jane Hodges has been named a reporter in Advertising Age's New York bureau.

Ms. Hodges, 25, will be a general assignment reporter and additionally will cover online services for Ad Age's Interactive Media & Marketing section. She also will help cover traditional print media's expansion into interactive media.

She has been an editorial assistant at Ad Age since last spring. Previously, she worked at the Magazine Publishers of America as a professional development associate.

Earlier, Ms. Hodges was an editorial assistant/researcher at Windows Sources. She also has free-lanced for Yankee and The Enterprise, a Hudson Valley, N.Y., community weekly, as well as Dartmouth Alumni Magazine, while working toward her M.F.A. at Sarah Lawrence College. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 1992 with a B.A. in comparative literature.

"With her strong writing skills combined with her detailed reporting style, Jane will be a great asset to the New York office and all of Ad Age," said Pat Sloan, senior editor and New York bureau chief.
