MILWAUKEE-Hoffman York & Compton closed its three-employee Minnetonka, Minn., office July 15 as part of a consolidation of media buying services for client KFC Corp.

Gene Gilmartin, Hoffman president-CEO, said the three were offered comparable positions in Milwaukee.

Hoffman opened the Twin Cities office in July 1988 to serve three Minnesota clients and planned to grow it into a midsize branch.

However, its lone remaining Minnetonka client is KFC, for which the office placed media for co-ops in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
