The Australian Tourist Commission is bringing back actor Paul Hogan in a bid to capitalize on Australia's visibility from the Olympics. The commission used Mr. Hogan more than a decade ago in a much-publicized effort, but he's been on hiatus since. Starting the week of Sept. 26, Mr. Hogan will team with the Qantas koala, the spokesanimal in the airline's ads, in a TV and newspaper campaign from D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, Los Angeles, to boost travel to the land Down Under. In the TV spot, to run on national cable and on spot TV in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, Mr. Hogan tells viewers: "Stop dreaming! C'mon, I've had a lot of fun in your country. How about you come down and have some fun in mine.''
