Holiday e-commerce doubles at America Online

America Online reported its holiday retail transaction business doubled from the same two-week period last year and that it's attracting a larger customer base looking for a broader range of consumer products. AOL credited the shift in seasonal sales to a more online shoppers. It also found that clothing was a leading online shopping category. 1
