Holiday Inn Worldwide teamed up with cable's Discovery Channel for the first time in a summer promotion targeting families and kids. Transforming the lobbies, restaurants and pools of 1,000 Holiday Inns into fun zones with hands-on educational activities, maps and games, the promotion shares Discovery Channel's "Explore your world" theme. Families paying for their stay with a Visa card will receive a Visa Value Pack of discounts and values from promotion co-sponsor Visa USA. Novus Services' credit card brands, including Discover, are now the official payment products of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida. Novus also will be involved in future marketing programs there.
VF Corp.'s Wrangler returned as a Nascar racing sponsor, backing the "No. 1" Chevrolet Monte Carlo car owned by Nascar legend Dale Earnhardt. Wrangler will include the sponsorship in integrated marketing programs, joining its support of rodeo, country music, hunting, fishing and camping events.
