Holiday Inn entering new segment

Holiday Hospitality, formerly Holiday Inn Worldwide, will enter the extended-stay market with new brand Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn. Groundbreaking for the first U.S. Staybridge Suites will take place by yearend. The company plans to have 200 franchised and owned locations and a total of 21,000 suites worldwide by 2002, including locations in France, Germany, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Canada.
