HomeGrocer.com delivers through $60 million alliance with America Online

America Online will feature HomeGrocer.com, an Internet grocery retailer, across key AOL brands under a five-year, $60 million strategic alliance. As part of the agreement, AOL and CompuServe members and users will be able to access HomeGrocer.com everywhere the service is available. HomeGrocer.com currently offers service in Seattle; Portland, Ore.; Orange County, Calif.; and Los Angeles, and expects to begin service in eight to 10 additional metropolitan areas in the next 12 months, including Dallas, San Diego, Atlanta, the Bay area in northern California and Washington.
