HomePortfolio, H&G TV ink co-branding deal

HomePortfolio, an online home design products shopping site, and Home & Garden TV network partnered to connect HomePortfolio's extensive product database and electronic commerce capability to HGTV's expanding Web site. HGTV's parent, E.W. Scripps Co., holds a nearly 30% stake in HomePortfolio. The first collaboration between the two companies complements HGTV's new weekly program "Restore America'' (Sundays at 10p.m. ET). Visitors to HomePortfolio and to HGTV's Web site will now be able to buy available restoration products through HomePortfolio's database of home-design products.
