American Honda Motor Co. is offering exclusive previews of its new CR-V sport utility vehicle to Web site visitors who have expressed interest in the car. Honda said it will offer 8,000 visitors first dibs on placing orders for the vehicle. The move marks the first time Honda has used its site to track potential customers. The 8,000 prospects represent people who have been contacted by Honda after sending in a questionnaire about their auto interests. Honda said more than 100,000 inquiries about the CR-V have come in since February of last year.
