NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Honda's new ad follows the debut of its latest version of the world's most sophisticated humanoid robot at the CES show in Las Vegas last week. Asimo (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) is a wild draw both as an example of cutting-edge robotics technology and as a marketing gimmick par excellence. This spot, which is not a special-effects creation, shows Asimo climbing stairs and otherwise navigating the complicated structure of a museum in accordance with his own sensors and fluid motor drives.
