ISTANBUL--Honda, the Japanese automobile manufacturer, unveiled yesterday a special printcampaign to commemorate the August 11 total eclipse of the sun.

Honda chose Turkey as one of the prime destinations for world scientists and travelers seeking to view and record the eclipse.

Honda's print ad features a large picture of the eclipse on a black background. The headline runs: "Please do not forget to turn on your headlights". Smaller print includes the eclipse's start and finish times and greetings from the auto group.

The ad was created by Total Iletisim, Istanbul.

The Turkish city of Elazig was touted by scientists as the best viewing point for the eclipse.

The Turkish Ministry of Tourism reported that hundreds of tourists from North America, Japan and the U.K. flew into the country to join special eclipse tours.
