Hong Kong may ban print tobacco ads

The government plans to ban tobacco print ads in mid-1996, news reports here say, along with tobacco ads on taxis. Tobacco product ad spending here reached $5.3 million in the first three months of 1995, up 99% from last year, as marketers are rushing to advertise before the ban takes effect.
