Hoover's, Infospace resolve suit

Published on .

Company information provider Hoover's, which last week sued Internet directory service Infospace for copyright infringement and other charges, said the two companies resolved their differences. Hoover's has dropped the suit. Hoover's had charged Infospace with using information from Hoover's on its Web site without permission. The two companies agreed to "economic terms" regarding Infospace's previous use of the information and to provisions limiting Infospace's future use of Hoover's information.
