There really may be no escape from Bill Gates and his Microsoft Corp. as the company discovers a new ad medium -- food vendors' umbrellas. Microsoft is promoting its New York Sidewalk online city guide (http://sidewalk.com) on 200 food cart umbrellas. It's said to be the first time a non-food company has advertised on the umbrellas.
