After introducing its Allure fragrance last spring with print ads and more than 30 million scented magazine, college newspaper and catalog inserts, Chanel is turning to TV for fall. The spots, which premiered on the U.S. Open Tenni s Championships last week, are directed by Herb Ritts and feature a musical score performed by Mood Swings and Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.
