One ad among 100

Although Coca-Cola Co. will air 100 spots during the Olympics, only a few will be new to U.S. viewers. Two of the new ones are 15-second spots from Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., that use animation to weave Coca-Cola's signature ribbon into a batter hitting a home run and a runner stealing a base. Of Coca-Cola's commercials during the Olympics, only 17 focus on the Games themselves-one per day produced from the previous day's events.
