While Scottish scientists were cloning sheep, Heineken's marketing-meisters were cloning the brand's trademark red star. That's the spin behind the importer's latest print ad, out March 5 in New York entertainment weekly Time Out. Heineken USA also is discussing placement in national magazines, including Sports Illustrated. The ad is the latest by Wells Rich Greene BDDP, New York, to hook the icon to topical news pegs.
