Austin, Nichols & Co. breaks its first major U.S. brand identity campaign for Pernod aperitif in April editions of Paper, Detour and Ocean Drive. The impressionistic print campaign, by Griffin Public Relations & Marketing, New York, uses the tagline "40% alcohol. 100% inspiration." The budget is "modest" but greater than the previous, three-year Pernod campaign, sponsoring an art promotion, said Terry Shea, VP of Griffin.
