Internet search engine Yahoo! next week breaks new TV advertising by Black Rocket, San Francisco, to air in regional markets including Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. The ads feature outrageous characters who use Yahoo! to locate very specific items. In one spot, we see a frustrated '70s throwback kind of guy trying to comb what little hair he has left over his balding head. After he searches Yahoo!, the spot cuts to him walking down a crowded avenue with an afro the size of which does tremendous justice to his seemingly favorite era.
