Hewlett-Packard awarded a new estimated $15 million to $20 million consumer PC ad account to Saatchi & Saatchi, San Francisco, and sister agency Team One
Advertising, El Segundo, Calif. The agencies were in the pitch against the Stephenz Group, San Jose, which continues to handle sales promotion work for the PC line. The win comes after HP's peripheral division announced a review of its $40 million account, currently handled by Saatchi with creative out of Team One. HP consolidated its estimated $80 million to $90 million account at Saatchi eight years ago, but several pieces of the business have gone into review in recent months.
