HP offers free ISP service

Joining the ranks of Barnes & Noble and Kmart Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. unveiled a free Internet service. Called Free Ticket, the service will be available on all new HP Pavilion home PCs. HP is offering the service through free ISP provider Spinway and Yahoo!, which will provide customized content. Yahoo! and Spinway have a deal to offer free ISP services and content to clients, which include Costco, Barnes & Noble and Kmart.
