Home Shopping Network said third-quarter net sales for its TV retailing business increased 11.5% over a year ago to $206.9 million. Gross profit margin was up to 40.9% from 33.2% in 1995. Consolidated gross profit increased 25.5%, to $97.3 million. Net earnings for the third quarter were $7.1 million, compared to a net loss of $17.7 million in 1995.
