Hubert promotion returns

Published on .

Harris Bank in Chicago is bringing back its popular mascot Hubert the Harris Lion for a new business promotion over the next six weeks. New account customers at any of the bank's 137 Chicago-area locations get a 10-inch fuzzy lion bank. The promotion will be advertised in more than 60 area newspapers starting Wednesday. The Hubert character was created in 1957. Vickers & Benson Cos., Toronto, agency for parent Bank of Montreal, and Frank C. Nahser Inc., Chicago, are handling advertising.
