Huey promoted to editor of ‘Fortune’

John Huey was promoted to editor of AOL Time Warner's Fortune. Mr.Huey had been managing editor of the title since February 1995. In his new position, all editors of Time Inc.'s business and personal finance titles - including FSB: Fortune Small Business, eCompany Now, Money and Mutual Funds - will report to him. In addition, the business side of all such titles will report to Jack Haire, president of the Fortune Group. Richard Kirkland will succeed Mr. Huey as Fortune's managing editor. Mr. Kirkland had been Mr. Huey's deputy managing editor.
