More Hunt-Wesson for Tatham

Published on .

Hunt-Wesson, Fullerton, Calif., named Euro RSCG Tatham, Chicago, agency of record for its Peter Pan peanut butter (a previously dormant account), Wesson oil and Knott's Berry Farm line of jams and jellies. The agency, which was awarded Hunt-Wesson's $15 million-plus Swiss Miss and Orville Redenbacher popcorn business earlier this year, was in the finals for Wesson and Peter Pan with Houston Helm & Co., Los Angeles, and Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago. Billings weren't disclosed, but if Hunt-Wesson ramps up its spending to the level of rivals such as Procter & Gamble Co.'s Jif and Crisco outlays could reach $20 million or more.
