(Aug. 201, 2001) -- Time Inc.'s Entertainment Weekly and Loews Cineplex Entertainment are partnering in Loews "Short Film, Big Screen" contest, a competition for student and independent filmmakers to produce 30-second trailers on moviegoer etiquette.

The contest, also sponsored by Coca-Cola Co. and the Shorts International Film Festival, will be promoted in Entertainment Weekly and on its Web site, ew.com, and started Aug. 17.

Moviegoers will vote on the trailers by voting for one of three finalists at www.enjoytheshow.com in late October. The winner will have a free one-year pass to Loews theaters in the U.S., and have the winning trailers shown on Loews' 1,400 screens.
