Frequent Flyer clears out staff

In a sweeping shake-up, Frequent Flyer has cut 10 full-timers, including all editorial staffers. Three of those affected are from the ad sales staff, with sales efforts reassigned to seven advertising representative companies. Parent company Reed Telepublishing is moving the monthly to Oak Brook, Ill., on June 1 from its present home here. As part of the changes, John Meigs, most recently director of development at Investor's Business Daily, was named publisher on May 3 to fill the post left vacant in January when Daniel Kisch jumped to National Jeweler as publisher.
