George, the new John Kennedy edited magazine from Hachette Filipacchi Magazines, will have 175 ad pages in its second issue due on newsstands Nov. 28, matching the record-setting ad page count of its premiere. Most of the original ads were sold as a two-issue package, but some predicted a modest falloff between issues. Instead, distribution for Issue 2 will be upped 20% to 600,000 after the first issue experienced a 93% sell-through on the initial 500,000 press run.
