Global Finance plans buyout

The founders of Global Finance said they are forming an investment company to buy out McGraw-Hill's half of the joint venture company that has been publishing the magazine for the past seven years. Publisher Joseph Giarraputo, publisher and Carl G. Burgen, editor in chief, who are heading up the buyout team, said they expect to complete the transaction by the end of January.
