I/Pro, NetCount make tracking moves

Published on .

Internet Profiles Corp. on March 1 launches I/Code, its software for registering Web users. I/Pro, San Francisco, will run a promotion with 20 Web partners who will offer various incentives like software, a music CD and Internet access to get users to register. Separately, NetCount, another Web tracker, slashed its rates to $195 per month for small sites and $1,395 per month for larger sites. I/Pro President Ariel Poler said his company will also "tweak" its rates but won't change them substantially.
